
Q. What is meditation?
A. There are many forms of meditation, and whilst they vary in technique, most of them involve concentration. Some techniques involve the use of mantras; others focus on the breath, staring at a lighted candle etc. The purpose of meditation is to find a pathway to one’s inner self. The Biosound Method is a Mantra based meditation practice with one major difference; it is completely effortless, devoid of all concentration. It is an easily learned, effortless and enjoyable meditative technique that brings about a profound state of quality rest and relaxation. The technique is practiced for 15-20 minutes in the morning and evening, while sitting quietly with your eyes closed. The Biosound Method is based on my experience of Transcendental Meditation as taught by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, which I learned 30 years ago!
Q. Why should I practice The Biosound Method?
A. the Biosound Method is recommended for anyone who wishes to enjoy peace, serenity, Joy, harmony and success in life. In the technique, we reconnect with our essence, the silent place within, which is the source of happiness, inspiration, enthusiasm, and creativity.
Q. What are the benefits of The Biosound Method?
A. the Biosound Method is a practical technique for enabling our minds to become quiet, providing quality rest to our bodies to facilitate the release of deep-rooted stress, tension, and fatigue. As a result we become healthier, and much more dynamic, creative, and productive in our daily lives.
In this modern world in which we live, constantly running around, we have no means to unwind. This creates a lot of stress in our lives, which sometimes we are unaware of until we become physically or physiologically unwell. The effects of stress can be seen in the widespread use and abuse of tranquillisers, sleeping pills and anti-depressant medications. It is a major factor contributing to addictive behaviour such as smoking, alcohol abuse and food addiction, and it contributes to crime, vandalism, domestic violence and even suicide.
Even though The Biosound Method should not be considered as a panacea for all illnesses, research has shown that meditative techniques positively contribute to reducing stress and achieving deep relaxation and a healing state of mental, emotional, and physical rest. By releasing stress, The Biosound Method has huge benefits for an ever-widening range of health problems!

Other than that, any changes in one's life will come about spontaneously
Q. What are Biosounds?
A. Biosounds are described as natural sounds which have very powerful, soothing, creative, and healing qualities. They are primordial sounds of nature, seed sounds, seed mantras or Bija Mantras, which holistically improve mind/body co-ordination. Biosounds are reflections of a primordial energy that cannot be exhausted. In The Biosound Method the Biosound leads the mind, effortlessly, and naturally to deeper and healthier levels of the thinking process, allowing the mind to transcend in deep meditation. As the mind reaches these healthier levels, it becomes refreshed, and stops clinging to old worn out thought patterns. Negative thoughts and emotions just fall away.
Q. What is a mantra?
A. A mantra is an instrument of thought; a sound whose effects are known. It is a thought used by the mind to free the mind from the mind, a primordial sound that cannot be exhausted.
The Biosound Method involves the use of Bija mantras, also called root mantras, seed mantras, seed-syllables, or seed sounds. The Bija Mantras employed in The Biosound Method are sounds which in the most direct way approach the transcendental state.
Q. Is there a spiritual side to The Biosound Method?
A. Yes, by practicing The Biosound Method you will start to experience the essential nature of what has been missing in your life. The Biosound Method is one of the the simplest, easiest and most practical ways to experience the reservoir of bliss, peace and creativity within oneself. As a result one starts to appreciate all aspects of life at all levels.
Q. I thought that mantras are only for people from India and the Far East; are we in the west really allowed to use them?
A. Mantras are universal; they reach beyond language and cultural differences to embrace all mankind. They express love, wisdom and joy. Mantras are ones spiritual birthright since they directly stimulate ones chakras or energy centres. People of all nationalities, regardless of their language or religion, use Sanskrit mantras for meditation, because Sanskrit is the universal language for self-realization.
Q. I thought that a mantra must be only given by a Guru to work, is this true?
A. First of all you don't need a Guru, You are your own Guru, but learning a way to meditate saves you a whole lot of time. If somebody who has worked with a particular mantra and experienced its full power, then gives it to you, you will experience it with power, and it will work a lot faster. Having said that, you will experience its power in a gentle and subtle way, gradually unwrapping its power on a daily basis as you meditate.
